Chitty proves a hit for Redrow in Heybridge

A mix of beautiful interiors, lake and canal views and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang brought in the crowds for Redrow at the launch of two spectacular show homes at The Lakes in Heybridge.

While the kids were enticed with Chitty, potential buyers took a look around the large Venford and Webburn homes, viewed a scale model of the development along with floor plans and interior specifications and had all their questions answered by the Redrow staff.

Beryl Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern) says: “Everyone had a great time at the launch and the kids loved Chitty. The four-bedroom Venford home has a neutral colour theme, with soft browns and creams throughout, accented with a strong burnt orange colour. Floral patterned wallpapers have been used in some rooms to create a feeling of luxury, while elegant light fittings add a glamorous touch. A mix of dark wood and oak furniture is used throughout the home, while the dining room has a whole breath-taking wall of mirrored glass – one of the central features of the home.

The five-bedroom Webburn is a classic family home, with cool and calming aqua and neutral colours combined with soft metallics. The bold patterned wallpaper is accented with a mixture of glass and chrome furniture, and rustic oak furniture in the master bedroom. One of the bedrooms has also been decorated with a sail boat theme – complete with boat wallpaper.

Beryl continues: “Our buyers love the idea of having water views and being in such a genuinely beautiful and relaxing setting. There’s so much to do in the local area, amenities are close by and if you fancy a change of scenery a trip to London will only take around 40 minutes.”
