15th October 2007 Print
At a ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday 5th October, Eric Pickles MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, presented the award to Nina Hester, Sales Director at Barratt.

53 Park Central, the flagship development by Barratt Eastern Counties in the heart of Chelmsford, has been named Best Development in Essex, at the prestigious Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2007.

Adam Lawrence, regional chairman for Barratt comments: “It is a great honour to win this award. I am delighted that such a prestigious judging panel has recognised the inspiration and attention to detail that has been dedicated to 53 Park Central at every stage, from design through to construction.”

At 53 Park Central Barratt has created 170 luxury contemporary apartments adjacent to the mainline station. With outstanding features that include a three-storey atrium, roof garden, private gym and concierge service, the development is setting new standards for homes in Chelmsford. The Tower, the second phase of the development, is, at twelve storeys, the tallest residential building in Chelmsford and has become a landmark for the town.
