Launch event for Vange’s new affordable homes
A property launch is being held on Tuesday 12th February to enable people to find out more about buying one of 90 new affordable homes being built at Vange.Affordable housing provider, South Anglia Housing, is holding the launch at Trinity Methodist Church, Clayhill Road (on the corner of Bardfield) between 4pm – 6pm to enable people to find out more about the new homes being built and how to purchase them.
South Anglia Housing is currently building 90 new homes in Vange as part of its £14.5M regeneration of the area. The homes are all available to buy through the government’s NewBuild HomeBuy scheme - which allows buyers to part-buy and part-rent a brand new property. The brand new properties will be a mixture of one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom houses. The first new properties, built by Hill Partnerships, are due to complete this month.
Members of the Sales and Marketing team will be on hand at the launch to provide more information and answer any questions. Plans of the new flats and houses will also be on show and interested buyers will be given the opportunity to reserve individual plots.
Information packs will be available for all attendees which will include details of a freephone service from Best Advice Financial Planning, the Specialist Mortgage Advisers supporting the Governments Affordable Home Ownership Programmes, for any potential buyers who would like further financial advice.
Under the NewBuild HomeBuy scheme buyers can purchase a minimum of 50 per cent of the property and a monthly affordable rent is calculated on the percentage of the unsold equity. Priority will be given to those who live and work in the area.
