Bluewater vouchers on offer to homebuyers in Basildon

23rd April 2008 Print
Bluewater vouchers on offer to homebuyers in Basildon A £5,000 voucher to spend at Bluewater, Europe's largest shopping centre, is being offered by Barratt Eastern Counties to anyone reserving a home at its Church View development in Laindon, near Basildon, on Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th April.

A brand new three-bedroom show home opening on the same weekend gives another good reason for potential homebuyers to visit.

Rebecca Littler, sales and marketing director of Barratt Eastern Counties, comments: "Church View is similar to a small village. It has a large green, lovely surrounding countryside and a friendly atmosphere. A £5,000 Bluewater voucher will go a long way towards helping people furnish their new home. We can also help people with an existing home to sell by buying it at full market value through our Part Exchange scheme, which takes away uncertainty and saves money. All this help makes it an excellent time for anyone interested in village style living close to London to view our development."

The homes at Church View range from one and two-bedroom apartments and maisonettes, suitable for first-time buyers, to three and four bedroom houses that are perfect for growing families. Many of the homes have uninterrupted views across open countryside and are just a short walk from the local shops, a school and St Nicholas, Laindon's beautiful old parish church.

Although Church View is in a semi-rural location, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, there are plenty of amenities nearby. Basildon town centre, just over two miles away, offers a great range of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs. A 12-screen cinema, thriving theatre and several sports and leisure centres provide plenty of entertainment. Serious shoppers have just a 20-minute drive to Lakeside Thurrock, one of Europe's largest shopping centres.

Transport links are excellent too. The M25 and Dartford Crossing are just ten miles away or, for commuting by train, Laindon station is within a mile and has very regular 35-minute services into London Fenchurch Street.

There is a very good selection of different styles of homes at Church View. Currently available for sale are two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom homes.

The apartments have plenty of space with a generously sized open plan living/dining/kitchen area and two double bedrooms.

The houses at Church View are arranged on two or three levels. Especially popular is The Norbury, a three-bedroom three storey house with a very large living/dining area and a separate kitchen. The master bedroom suite occupies the entire top floor and includes a large walk-in dressing area and en suite shower room. Two further bedrooms and the main bathroom are located on the middle level.

Prices at Church View start from £192,950 for a two-bedroom apartment and £264,995 for a three-bedroom house. For anyone who needs to sell their current home, Barratt's Part Exchange scheme is quick, secure, takes away the worry of being in a chain and saves the expense of estate agent fees.
