A select new development of contemporary, high specification homes has launched in Chelmsford. Mulberry Mews, a Countryside Properties development, comprises of one and two bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom houses, on Chelmer Road in Chelmsford, Essex.

Chris Crook, Subsidiary Managing Director, Countryside Properties, comments, "Mulberry Mews is in a class of its own, as it provides stylish high quality contemporary living, looking onto green fields, enviably located just minutes away from Chelmsford town centre. It comprises a unique combination of clean, modern design features and traditional materials which will appeal to a wide variety of purchasers.

“The development offers buyers the best of both worlds, with the town centre right on the doorstep, and views across verdant fields. Even though the market is challenging at the moment, we have received a lot of enquiries prior to the launch and we are confident that by offering quality housing stock, the development will prove to be every bit as successful as our previous projects in the area."

The architecture at Mulberry Mews combines an eclectic mix of pitched gables, varying rooflines and exterior treatments, including a stylish combination of red and buff stock brickwork, render, natural timber cladding and grey slate tiles.

Interiors are of the high specification one would expect from Countryside Properties and offer a fully fitted kitchen with stainless steel appliances and open plan living areas. Bathrooms include modern white sanitaryware with chrome fittings and ceramic wall tiling. Countryside Properties is committed to providing sustainable homes and has incorporated several features into each home, designed to help purchasers reduce their carbon footprint.

The town has a whole host of high street shops, larger chain stores, restaurants, bars and clubs. It has plenty of sports, recreation and leisure facilities, places of interest to visit, diverse arts and entertainment possibilities and an abundance of parks and green open space. The town hosts an under cover market five days a week, which has been in existence for over 800 years, and is also home to the annual V Festival, which draws some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Prices start from £155,000 for a one bedroom apartment, £175,000 for a two bedroom apartment, £210,000 for a two bedroom house and £250,000 for a three bedroom house. For further information visit Mulberrymews.net.
