Bocking Mill site manager wins award for excellence

The award was presented to Rob by Steve Catt, NHBC regional director for South East, at a party hosted by Barratt to celebrate the win.
Pride in the Job seeks out and rewards the best site managers across the UK. Judging takes place in unannounced visits by NHBC inspectors, who give scores across 38 different areas of site management, including technical knowledge, build consistency and leadership skills. 18,000 site managers across the country are entered into the awards.
Adam Lawrence, Regional Managing Director of Barratt London and Thames Gateway comments: "Pride in the Job is the most sought after award in the industry because it provides a highly accurate measure of performance and is synonymous with high quality house building. I congratulate Rob and his team on a superb achievement."
Rob Ruffy adds: "An NHBC inspector can turn up at any time, so he is judging the work that we do every day. Building work is a real team effort and we are all delighted that our work has been recognised by such an important award."
This year, Barratt site managers across the country have won a record 72 Quality Awards in the Pride In The Job competition - the highest number ever claimed by one housebuilder in the 28-year history of the awards.
