Bellway opens two new show homes in Romford

Potential buyers will now have the opportunity to see for themselves the superb quality of these stylish new homes by visiting a two bedroom show apartment at Brooklands and an appealing three bedroom family home at Park Central.
The larger of the two developments is Brooklands, comprising seventy-five stylish one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom houses situated off Whitchurch Road. Prices start at £139,950 for apartments and £249,950 for the terraced houses.
The second Harold Hill development, just a short distance away, is Park Central, a small development of just 45 homes at Gooshays Gardens. As with Brooklands, there is a mix of one-and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom family houses – both semi-detached and terraced. Prices start at £139,950 for apartments and £235,000 for houses.
For those first time buyers finding it difficult to get on that bottom rung, Bellway suggests that would-be buyers look to MyChoiceHomeBuy at these developments. This is just one of the latest Government-led initiatives to aid those buying their first property. The scheme, which is part-funded by the Government, offers the contribution of up as much as 50% or as little as 15% of the purchase price of a first home. First-time buyers searching for a home on the open market will take out a mortgage from any participating bank or building society to fund the agreed percentage of the purchase price. Eligible home buyers will then receive an equity share from MyChoiceHomeBuy to cover the remainder of the purchase price.
MyChoiceHomeBuy has been designed to offer a flexible and simple path for potential home buyers with a combined household income ranging from £20,000 to £60,000 to buy their own home. There is a low monthly fee of 1.75% payable on the equity bought with MyChoiceHomeBuy for the first year. Annual increases on this fee are capped at RPI plus 1%.
Peter Knights, Bellway Sales Manager for Thames Gateway, said: “MyChoiceHomeBuy is a great new scheme, offering excellent affordability for low to middle income earners who might otherwise find themselves priced out the market. There are many stylish new homes at Bellway’s Park Central and Brooklands developments in Harold Hill so we advise buyers to call us to discuss their needs and see the range of homes that is available to them”.
Perfect for professionals, Harold Hill has superb commuter links as it is close to the M25 and Eastern Avenue. Both Brooklands and Park Central are a short bus ride from Harold Wood Station with London’s Liverpool Street just over half an hour’s train journey away and City Airport is within easy reach.
Harold Hill offers an array of leisure facilities and other amenities including local stores and a superstore nearby on the A12. Lakeside shopping and leisure mall is close by as is Romford town centre with its 2 million square feet of retail space plus a market. There is ample green space: the borough boasts an extraordinary 108 parks and open spaces as well as golf clubs.
The sales and marketing suites for both developments are on-site and are open Thursday - Monday from 10am – 5pm. For more information, log on to Bellway.co.uk.
