A busy start for Barratt Homes in Essex

1st April 2009 Print
A busy start for Barratt Homes in Essex Barratt Eastern Counties has seen a busy start to the year with more sales enquiries and rising visitor levels at its developments across Essex. The Tower and Aurora developments in Chelmsford are both sold out and there are only a few homes remaining at Kings Gate in Rayleigh, The Hawthorns in Witham and Church View in Laindon.

The housebuilder is offering great incentives on new homes and deals to suit all kinds of buyers, together with help to get a mortgage.

Adam Lawrence, regional managing director of Barratt London and Thames Gateway said: “We’ve seen a marked increase in sales inquiries and visitor levels at our developments in recent weeks as people are realising that now could be a very good time to buy.
“If you’re a first-time buyer, for example, we have a number of ways to assist you onto the property ladder, including our Dream Start scheme. You could pay only 75 per cent of the purchase price now – and take advantage of an interest-free loan on the other 25 per cent for up to ten years.

“This makes a dramatic difference to the move-in price, and having only a 75 per cent mortgage makes monthly repayments very affordable. You don’t even have to worry about finding the deposit.”

For those with an existing home to sell, potential purchasers can also take advantage of Barratt’s excellent Part Exchange service. Barratt can buy your property through our popular part exchange scheme leaving you free to buy ones of its news homes. This takes away the worry of being in a chain and buyers can even stay in your old property until the new home is ready. With no estate agent fees to pay, or HIP pack to prepare, you save money too.

Adam Lawrence added: “We are offering some of our best-ever deals, but they can only be available for a limited period. I’d advise anyone interested to come and talk to us.”
