Part-ex homes are ready and waiting in Wivenhoe Home-owners looking for a hassle-free move to a beautiful new apartment need look no further than the Cooks Shipyard development in Wivenhoe, Essex.

Designed to help customers avoid getting caught up in the property chain, Bryant Homes’ part-exchange scheme is now available on just two beautiful new ‘Boat House’ homes.

Priced £164,995, the first of the two homes features exceptional living space comprising an open-plan kitchen and reception/dining room, a large master bedroom with built-in wardrobes and en-suite bathroom, a second double bedroom with en-suite, and a cloakroom and store room off the entrance hallway. This second-floor home benefits from an allocated parking space.

The second design, priced £249,995, boasts a superb reception/dining room opening through French doors to a terrace which overlooks the water’s edge, a separate kitchen, a master bedroom with en-suite, a second double bedroom with French doors to the terrace, and a main bathroom. Each bedroom is fitted with built-in wardrobes, and there is a porch to the entrance hallway.

Outside, the ground-floor ‘Boat House’ design has a garage and two allocated parking spaces.

Tina Dedman, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Bryant Homes, says: “Many people are keen to move to a maintenance-free new home, but they are perhaps put off because of the length of time their home could be on the market, which can add to the ‘hidden’ costs.

“Our part-exchange scheme makes these two stunning properties an incredibly attractive deal for this type of buyer. It’s a simple way of speeding up the buying process, and the two lucky purchasers can move in almost straight away.”

Customers using the part-exchange scheme receive an independent valuation of their existing property carried out by Bryant’s appointed agents, and once the price is agreed the house-builder simply purchases their old property, leaving them free to move to their new home.

The scheme is available on selected homes only, and those interested in the offer are urged to contact the development as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Visitors can also find out more about Bryant’s range of tailor-made incentives for first-time buyers, investors and those with a home to sell, in addition to looking around the show apartment.

Cooks Shipyard comprises an exclusive range of apartments, designed using traditional weatherboard and soft redbrick architecture and characterised by comfortable interiors and stunning waterside views.

Selected homes benefit from balconies and terraces to the living areas and bedrooms, while all enjoy a high standard specification including fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood, double glazing and gas central heating.

Bryant Homes is helping to transform the former docklands at Wivenhoe, and the pretty community that is springing up will comprise places of work and leisure opportunities alongside the new homes set around the water’s edge.

Wivenhoe’s oldest inn, restaurants and bistros serving fresh local seafood are within strolling distance, while the town is home to shops for everyday needs, a railway station and cosmopolitan restaurants, cafes, bistros and bars.

For a wider choice of shopping, leisure and schools, Colchester town centre is less than five miles away, while a range of attractions can be found in the area, including the world-famous Beth Chatto Gardens, Constable’s Flatford Mill and the National Trust’s Paycocke’s at Coggeshall.

To take advantage of the part-exchange scheme on one of the two ‘Boat House’ apartments – or to see the show apartment – the development is located off Anglesea Road, Wivenhoe, and open Thursday to Monday, from 10am until 6pm.
