Fresh show home steps into spring

Fresh show home steps into spring Persimmon Homes Essex prides itself on creating highly sought-after properties in desirable locations, and the company’s Eton Place development in the heart of Colchester doesn’t disappoint.

The homebuilder has now launched the much anticipated showhome, which has been designed to give househunters a taste of how these beautiful homes can look when dressed.

The four bedroom Cavendish townhouse at Eton Place has been professionally dressed by leading interior design agency, Connections in Design. Using a warm palette of fresh aqua, smooth taupe and rich chocolate, the designers have created a soft contemporary look.

The simplistic feature walls are off set with textured soft furnishings and striking monochrome art work, to give the showhome a truly modern look.

Neil Sykes, sales director for Persimmon Homes Essex, believe the scheme will appeal to a wide variety of visitors including first time buyers, young and growing families and even those looking for a little interior design inspiration for their own home.

Neil states: “I am very pleased with the finished look of the Cavendish design. When we create a showhome, it’s always my intention to impress househunters by producing an enviable space they people fall in love with and want to recreate in their own home and I believe we have accomplished this at Eton Place.”

Prices at Eton Place start from £229,999 for a three bedroom home and with Persimmon’s commitment to the Government-led HomeBuy Direct 70 per cent shared equity scheme, purchasers could pay as little as £160,999 for the same property*.

The development, which incorporates a selection of three, four and four/five bedroom homes, is located adjacent to Persimmon’s successful Bloomsbury Mews development, which hosts a range of apartments.

Eton Place and Bloomsbury Mews are being constructed as part of the New Braiswick Park community, which will include a community centre, shops, crèche and surgery. The developments also benefit from being a short walk to Colchester’s north train station, meaning London is just a 50 minute commute.
