Charles Church brings the outside in

Neil Sykes, sales director for Charles Church, states: “At Weald Park we wanted to create something a little different, so asked four interior design agencies to tender for our five bedroom showhome.
“Leading interior design company, Intu Interiors, caught our attention and captured our imagination as they really understood the brief and what we wanted to create at Weald Park.”
The five bedroom detached Oak design, offered a stunning backdrop for Intu Interiors to work with. The ground floor of this contemporary three storey design, comes complete with double fronted bay windows, a dual aspect lounge area, kitchen with breakfast area and separate utility room, dining room and guest cloak room.
The first floor hosts a master bedroom with his and hers wardrobes and en suite bathroom, a study, the family bathroom and the fourth bedroom. Both bedrooms on this floor are finished with unique balcony areas.
The second floor meanwhile, comprises the second bedroom with en suite and bedrooms three and five are serviced by an additional family bathroom.
Yvonne Bell, Account Manager at Intu Interiors, explains the inspiration for the showhome and how she and the team have styled this magnificent property. “Anyone who’s visited Weald Park is bowled over by the stunning countryside setting the development is located in and we wanted to highlight the picturesque surroundings within the Oak design.
“From extensive research into consumer behaviour and local profiling of the type of purchaser we believe would be attracted to Weald Park we created the concept ‘Ethics meets Aesthetics’ for the Oak showhome, which combines upmarket sophistication with sustainable chic.”
Intu has used natural textured fabrics in muted earthy colours such as creams, caramels and greens, with hints of silvers, bronze and ivory to give the design an edgier feel. The furniture is a mix of sustainable finishes such as solid wood, leather, and rattan along with modern textures such as metal and glass.
“One element we felt strongly about for this stunning scheme, was integrating a number of items made from recycled materials, to ensure we’re reducing our carbon footprint, in keeping with the development’s rural surroundings.”
The recycled aspects of the showhome include a chair made from vegetable-dyed leather and a footstool made from leather off cuts. Some of the wooden furniture such as in the third bedroom was previously owned and Intu has given it a new lease of life by way of having a very talented graffiti artist update its look.
The fourth bedroom hosts several eco and recycled pieces, with a headboard and curtain pole made from branches collected by Weald Park’s ranger and there is also a collection of vintage sustainable rattan.
Finally, in the study the designers have used imagery of a woodland scene as focal wallpaper, which gives an indicative feel of Weald Park. Intu has also used various vintage, recycled and natural accessories combined with modern designer pieces in chrome to finish the look.
Neil Sykes concludes: “The Oak showhome is a true reflection of what we’re looking to achieve at Weald Park, homes with grandeur that fit harmoniously into the landscape surrounding the development.
“I’d urge interested parties and househunters to take a look at the showhome and what we have to offer at Weald Park, as I believe they will be impressed with what we have to offer at this sophisticated development.”
Prices at Weald Park start from £239,950 for an apartment and £399,950 for a three bedroom house.
The homes at the prestigious development, which plays host to a delightful mature tree lined avenue, are among some of the most sumptuous and exclusive housetypes on Charles Church’s portfolio. The bespoke external façades coupled with the heightened internal specification means these properties are a ‘must see’ for househunters looking for the executive lifestyle.
When complete, Weald Park will include over nine acres of open green space, which is over half of the site. A number of the new homes will benefit from overlooking the beautiful area of enhanced greenbelt.
Brentwood is ideal for those who need to commute, as London, Chelmsford and Colchester are easily accessed via the A12 and is on the door step of the M25 London Orbital Road (junction 28) while residents will enjoy being situated in the heart of Essex’s beautiful countryside. The town hosts all the modern amenities purchasers could want, with a range of local and high street shops, supermarkets, restaurants, café’s and schools on the development’s doorstop.
