Colchester buyers ask the experts Summer home-buyers can now receive a welcome boost thanks to a new scheme from Taylor Wimpey designed to save them time and money. The ‘Ask the Experts’ initiative, available at George Wimpey’s Tamarinds and Bryant Homes’ Churchill Gate developments in Colchester, offers a range of features tailored to individual circumstances.

First time buyers could have their stamp duty paid up to 1%, plus they will receive a free mortgage broker service to ensure they get a competitive mortgage quote. For those with a house to sell, Taylor Wimpey will also provide a fast valuation on their current property, market their existing home, pay estate agents fees, provide help with legal fees and take care of their Home Information Pack.

Tina Dedman, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “People still want to move home but are sometimes worried about getting the right mortgage deal or don’t want the hassle of selling their property. Through this new scheme, buyers can benefit from the expertise of Taylor Wimpey and its specially selected team of independent financial advisors plus save thousands of pounds, whatever their situation.”

George Wimpey’s Tamarinds development comprises a range of stunning one and two-bedroom apartments within easy reach of Colchester centre and the beautiful Essex countryside, with prices starting at just £99,995.

Bryant Homes’ Churchill Gate development continues to be hugely popular among home-buyers looking for a new place with space in a great location. It is situated in a beautiful, secluded development that stands in a prime position in Colchester with fantastic views over Abbey Field.

For those travelling further afield, Stansted Airport is a 45-minute drive from the development.
