Final homes for sale at Loxford Chase, Ilford

1st July 2009 Print
Final homes for sale at Loxford Chase, Ilford Only a few new houses remain for sale at Countryside Properties’ popular development Loxford Chase in Ilford following the sale of the last of the apartments.

Loxford Chase has sold well, with purchasers appreciating its convenient location near the centre of Ilford, and the fact that it offers a rare chance to purchase a new house in an area where many new developments offer solely apartments.

Buyers can choose between two and three bedroom houses taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the Government’s First Time Buyer Initiative (FTBI), in partnership with Metropolitan Housing. The highly popular FTBI allows a two bedroom house to be bought at Loxford Chase with a mortgage from as low as £87,500.

This low mortgage figure is possible under the FTBI as it represents only 50% of the full purchase price of the lowest priced houses that start from £175,000. Importantly the purchaser retains a 100% ownership of the property, repaying the Government’s contribution at their own convenience or when they sell the property.

There are a limited number of four bedroom houses available with integrated conservatories. Loxford Chase offers a range of traditionally designed properties, providing ideal accommodation for a first, second or third home. Established trees along the boundary of Loxford Water have been conserved to retain a natural, leafy feel. Cycle stores offer more benefits for the environmentally aware home-buyer.

The homes have an EcoHomes rating of ‘Very Good’, and the interiors are finished to a high quality with a sleek contemporary design with Romana cherry kitchen units with stainless steel appliances, grey worktops and glass splashbacks. Simple chrome fittings, white tiles and walnut veneer countertops in the bathrooms continue the theme, while integrated conservatories bring warmth and light to the properties.

Ilford is well-located for train travel into central London. There are four local train stations within a mile of Loxford Chase, and journeys can take less than 20 minutes into Liverpool Street and Stratford.

Prices at Loxford Chase start at £87,500* for a two-bedroom coach house; £115,000* for a two-bedroom house with conservatory; £249,995 for three-bedroom houses and £299,950 for a four-bedroom town houses. For further details log on to loxfordchase.co.uk.
