Four bedrooms for the price of three

Award winning housebuilder Miller Homes is offering a selection of four bedroom houses at its Priors Green development with MiWay – a shared equity scheme which offers purchasers the chance to buy 100% of a property for just 75% of the price.

For the first time at Priors Green, just a trio of four bedroom family homes will be available to purchase with MiWay. With the scheme a purchaser will pay for 75% of the price of the property, and Miller Homes will take care of the remaining 25%. Purchasers will own 100% of the property from day one and 25% of the property’s value has to be paid back when the house is sold or after ten years – whatever comes first.

Only available on plots 145, 146 and 147, purchasers who buy with MiWay at Priors Green can expect to buy a four bedroom home for the price of a three bedroom home. For example plot 147, a four bedroom detached home, is on the market for £349,950. With MiWay, this price is reduced to £262,463 – making it the ideal home for a family who didn’t think they could afford to climb up the property ladder.

MiWay is not new to Priors Green. Colin Legget, 26, and his partner Sally Ford, 24, used the scheme to help them take their first step on the property ladder earlier this year. After visiting the development, the couple realised they had found their perfect home. “We fell in love with the house as soon as we saw it but were concerned that it wasn’t within our budget,” Colin explains. After discovering the property was available with MiWay Colin and Sally realised it was more affordable than they originally thought. “With MiWay, we were able to pay only 75 per cent of price, but still own 100 per cent of the property so we decided we had nothing to lose!

“We never thought we would be in a position to buy a home like the one we have now and this wouldn’t have been possible without MiWay. The whole process was so quick and completely stress free,” he adds.

Priors Green boasts a number of public open spaces and has been beautifully landscaped with its future residents in mind. Set on the edge of the village of Little Canfield, Priors Green is less than four miles from the M11 motorway and gives easy access to both London and Cambridge.
