The property price is right in Kesgrave If you’re a first time buyer and finding it hard to find the finances for your first home, or if you’re looking to move up the property ladder, but are struggling to find a purchaser for your existing property, then fear not as Persimmon Homes Essex has a range of schemes available to suit you at its ever-popular Cedarwood Parc development in Kesgrave.

“At Persimmon we recognise the importance of consumer choice and we want to offer this to our purchasers at Cedarwood Parc no matter what their budget or personal circumstances,” explains Neil Sykes, sales director for Persimmon Homes Essex.

Currently available at the development is a range of spacious three bedroom houses priced from £174,950 and four bedroom homes priced from £239,950.

For first time buyers and those with an income of less than £60,000 per annum, the company is offering a range of homes via the Government-led 70 per cent shared equity HomeBuy Direct scheme. House hunters will only be required to raise funding for 70 per cent of the purchase price including a mortgage plus any small deposit, although this is not a necessity. The remaining 30 per cent is made up by an equity loan which is co-funded by the Government and Persimmon Homes.

Via HomeBuy Direct, prices for a three bedroom house currently start from just £122,465 and interested parties are urged to speak to Persimmon sooner rather than later as there are a limited number of properties available through the scheme.

For those with an existing property to sell, the company’s Part Exchange/Optimiser scheme is available. The initiative involves the Persimmon helping purchasers to find and appoint an independent estate agent, advise on the valuations and what price to market the property at. The company then reserves the purchaser’s chosen housetype while their existing property is sold. What’s more the homebuilder will also pay the estate agent’s, making the process that much more cost effective.

Neil concludes: “With Ipswich town centre just a matter of minutes away from the development, Cedarwood Parc offers both an attractive and affordable option for those looking to move home this summer.”

Cedarwood Parc boasts a selection of just 31 private homes and even so it’s a relatively small site, it benefits from having a wide variety of properties on offer, which will appeal to a number of differing purchaser groups.

The development is being built around a series of quiet cul-de-sacs, which means it’s away from the hustle and bustle while still being just a couple of minutes walk from a Tesco Local, which provides all the necessary amenities requirement.

Kesgrave itself hosts a number of amenities including supermarkets, healthcare facilities, schools, pubs and restaurants. Kesgrave has the advantage of being located in close proximity to Ipswich, which provides residents with all the facilities and leisure pursuits expected.
