Move on up at Uplands

13th March 2008 Print
Move on up at Uplands Moving in, moving on or moving up – all are possibilities at Bellway’s Stowmarket development of Uplands. For those with homes to sell, Bellway is easing the burden of moving with a Part Exchange scheme; whilst first time buyers can move in for just £99.

Part Exchange

By taking buyers’ existing property in part exchange for a new home the process is speeded up and the misery of losing that home of your dreams is avoided.

Part exchange takes the stress and hassle out of the home buying process as, subject to valuation, buyers who use the scheme receive a guaranteed offer within 7 days and contracts can be exchanged quickly. As the service is free and as there are no estate agents or HIPS fees to pay, buyers also save a significant amount of money that could be spent on furnishings for their new home.

Move in for £99

For first time buyers who have the income to afford monthly mortgage payments but struggle to find the deposit and other up-front costs, Bellway is offering a ‘Pay £99 and move in’ deal on selected properties. Karen Coulson explains: “Using the offer first time buyers only have to pay £99 to reserve their apartment. We will then pay the 5% deposit, 1% stamp duty, and contribute towards legal fees up to a maximum of £500.

“The offer is perfect for those needing to take their first step on the property ladder, who though in full time employment find it impossible to save for a deposit and have to live in rented accommodation, or at home with their parents. Money that would otherwise be lost in rent can be invested in a home of their own. And the money purchasers save using our ‘Move in for £99’ offer can go towards furnishings for their new home”

To gather a firm impression of how good living at Uplands can be, house-hunters can visit the two luxury show homes which recently opened at the Stowupland Road site. Available to view are the Raglan, one of a selection of three-bedroom detached homes priced from £197,500 and the Warwick, a double-fronted five-bedroom house with prices for similar homes starting at £315,000.

Located between two of Suffolk’s largest towns, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket is a typically English town surrounded by chocolate box villages and picturesque countryside. Stowmarket has much to offer including the bi-weekly market on Thursday’s and Saturday’s. There are also many country walks in and around the town, a golf course and Suffolk’s only open air museum, The Museum of East Anglian Life.

The sales centre and show homes are open to view daily, from 10am-5.30pm. Visit Bellway.co.uk for more information.
