Site manager at Bakers Mill wins award for excellence

John Gore, Site Manager at Bakers Mill, Barratt Eastern Counties' new riverside development near Sudbury, has been recognised with a Quality Award in the prestigious National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job competition. John, who lives in Chafford Hundred, Essex, has worked for Barratt for eight and a half years.

The award was presented to John by Steve Catt, NHBC regional director for South East, at a party hosted by Barratt to celebrate the win.

Pride in the Job seeks out and rewards the best site managers across the UK. Judging takes place in unannounced visits by NHBC inspectors, who give scores across 38 different areas of site management, including technical knowledge, build consistency and leadership skills. 18,000 site managers across the country are entered into the awards.
