Pilgrims descend on Kings Park

5th December 2008 Print
Pilgrims descend on Kings Park When looking for an exclusive new home, on a quiet country road, found among mature trees, you'd be forgiven for ruling out a new build property, but purchasers in Sudbury will be pleasantly surprised to find Persimmon Homes Anglia's exquisite Kings Park development.

"At Kings Park, residents receive the best of both worlds," states Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia. "Not only do they have the advantage of living in a brand new property, but they also have the added bonus of living in an exclusive cul de sac, located in the picturesque rolling Suffolk countryside."

One such couple who are reaping the benefits of living at Kings Park is David and Sonia Pilgrim. They were house hunting for months before they found out about the executive homes at Kings Park and subsequently visited the development to see what was on offer.

Sonia states: "We fell in love with the idea of living at Kings Park as it offered so many advantages. We were looking to move from a house we owned for 26 years, so our new house had to offer something special and the homes at Kings Park certainly did. We were able to decorate our brand new four bedroom Marlborough housetype exactly how we wanted and the situation and peacefulness of the site really was a big selling point."

David adds: "Unlike some new housing estates, we loved Kings Park because it only has a limited number of homes on site and they all have large front and rear gardens."

The Pilgrims were able to take advantage of Persimmon's range of incentives on offer at the development including a generous discount, which meant buying their dream home was more affordable than first thought.

Prices at the development start from just £320,000 for a four bedroom housetype. The company is also offering househunters a number of deals including up to £25,000 discount or mortgage subsidy for two years, a deposit paid scheme and fees paid scheme, plus flooring packages. All offers are on selected plots at the development.

Jon concludes: "Kings Park offers purchasers like David and Sonia a number of differing styles of executive homes to choose from as well as a truly executive lifestyle to match as Sudbury is fast becoming one of the most desirable locations in Anglia."

The town centre is situated just a mile away and offers a full range of convenient shops, restaurants, pubs and facilities. The development is ideally located for those wanting to commute, with Colchester just a short drive away via the A13. Via Sudbury railway station, London's Liverpool Street station is also within easy reach.
