Family upsize at Maple Tye

Family upsize at Maple Tye When looking to move, many young families highlight a good school and a safe and friendly community as important purchasing factors.

One couple from Stowmarket had already found all of these things at Crest Nicholson’s Maple Tye development but needed a bigger house for their expanding family.

Thankfully the wide selection of houses on offer at the scheme meant they could simply upgrade without losing the qualities they had originally loved about the development.

Stuart Washington (36) and Amanda (35) originally chose Cedars Park to bring up their first daughter Mae (3) but when expecting their youngest daughter Emily (now 15 weeks old) the couple realised that they would soon need to upgrade from their three bedroom house to a more spacious family home. Stuart and Amanda knew that they didn’t want to leave Maple Tye behind and so instead they decided to upsize within the development to a new four bedroom property.

Stuart comments, “We liked Maple Tye straight away as the houses didn’t feel crammed in like a lot of new developments which gave it a much more spacious and open feel. Thankfully when it was time to move, we didn’t have to look very far and Crest Nicholson was able to offer us one of their larger family properties. It has worked out well for us as it meant we could upsize without the upheaval of starting all over again somewhere else.”

Having made plenty of friends in the community and with Mae happy in the development’s Nursery school, the couple knew they wanted to stay at Maple Tye to build a good future for their family. The dedicated child play areas and schools on site makes the development feel like a friendly and safe place to live and they are hoping that both girls will be able to attend the recently opened Cedars Park Community Primary School at the site.

Stuart continues: “The nursery was one reason that made us want to stay here as Mae is so happy there and we plan to send Emily there too. We are so pleased we didn’t have to move elsewhere for a bigger property - it’s great to find somewhere that really feels like home!”

Annette Cole Sales and Marketing Director (Eastern) comments, “As the Washington family has discovered, Maple Tye is the perfect development for any size of household. Offering a wide selection of properties from apartments to four bedroom family homes, a real feeling of community has been established which is ideal for raising a family.”

Maple Tye is a popular development comprising a brand new collection of one and two bedroom apartments, two and three bedroom cottages and three and four bedroom family houses just a short walk from the centre of Stowmarket.
