Good news for house hunters in Lowestoft Persimmon Homes Anglia is pleased to announce the launch of its 8th development in Lowestoft, Lark Rise, situated in Carlton Colville, design to suit the growing needs of househunters in the area.

Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, states: “Lark Rise follows on from the continued success we’ve received in Carlton Colville and Lowestoft. We’re really excited to launch our new development, which will offer househunters a choice of one and two bedroom apartments as well as two, three and four bedroom houses.

Persimmon is offering a selection of the homes through the Government-led 70 per cent shared equity HomeBuy Direct scheme. Available to those earning a household income of less than £60,000, the scheme allows purchasers to buy and own 100 per cent of their property for just 70 per cent of the price. The remaining 30 per cent is made up of a co-funded loan, interest free for five years, from the Government and Persimmon Homes.

The first release of properties at Lark Rise start from £121,950 for a two bedroom Chiswick design, while a three bedroom detached Balmoral home is priced at £182,650 and the four bedroom homes start from £199,500.

The development is being constructed around a central area of beautiful open space, which will include a play area for young children to enjoy. Residents will also benefit as the site is being build around a series of cul de sacs, meaning there is never any worry of through traffic.

Persimmon is highly committed to Carlton Colville, with success found at previous development and the housebuilder’s head office has been situated in the area for over 30 years.

Jon concludes: “The new development has been much anticipated among a variety of househunters and our mailing list is looking very healthy with interest from local people, and we’re even receiving calls from some people on our existing development, who are looking to trade up and repeat purchase with us.”

Carlton Colville hosts a selection of shops, a supermarket, post office and healthcare facilities meaning househunters will find all the day to day necessities they need within close proximity. Lark Rise is situated close to the beautiful Suffolk coastline, with award winning sandy beaches on its doorstep it’s an ideal location to call home.

Lowestoft town centre is just over two miles away, which plays host to a wider range of amenities plus a cinema, theatre and department stores. The thriving city of Norwich is just forty minutes by car and the local train station also has dedicated services to Norwich, Ipswich and London.
