Caeli Rutherford, left, and Cheryl Hobbs start work on Barratt Homes new site at Thornbury The vibrant market town of Thornbury is set for a boost with news that Barratt Homes is set to create Bath Court - a stylish development of new homes which are already creating a buzz among potential buyers. Work is now underway on construction of 67 brand new apartments and houses from Britain’s largest house builder in the heart of this buoyant town.

Its location close to the motorway network and Bristol city centre makes it ideal for buyers looking for excellent local amenities and easy access to the region’s business, shopping and leisure attractions.

“We are delighted to be building in Thornbury,’’ said Barratt Homes sales director Louise Ware. “As soon as we began demolition work on the site we had potential buyers registering their interest in the homes which are being built on two pockets of land.’’

Due to be built in the centre of Thornbury, Barratt Homes is creating a stylish development of apartments and houses in the heart of the town.

She said the level of interest already seen reinforces the huge demand for new homes in this area.

“The central location is key as are local amenities and with the variety of homes we plan at Bath Court we hope to be able to appeal to a wide range of buyers.’’

Potential buyers can register their interest in Bath Court now by logging on to Barratthomes.co.uk.
