Trouble landing a 3 bed home? Not with Persimmon

The Blacksmith house type at The Grange Families hoping to buy a traditional three bedroom home should prepare to be disappointed if a recent report by the Land Registry is to be believed. According to the Land Registry, traditional three bedroom family homes are in desperately short supply, however, Studley-based based Persimmon Homes South Midlands, says it really isn’t that hard to find a property of this size and that would-be-buyers in Gloucester don’t even have to look that hard to find them.

Dispelling the myth that affordable, decent-sized family pads have become somewhat of a rarity, The Grange development in Gloucester features a range of three bedroom homes and, priced from £199,995, they also cost less than the UK’s average three bedroom property, which currently stands at £225,000.

Alison Reading, sales director for Persimmon Homes South Midlands, says: “To say there’s a shortage of quality three bedroom homes in Gloucester simply isn’t the case and, contrary to recent reports, anyone looking to move up to a three bedroom home will simply be spoilt for choice. Buyers who reserve plots 13 and 14, currently priced at £214,995, will receive a helping hand from the house builder who will subsidise their mortgage by a staggering £500 a month for a period of two years.
