Savills strengthens presence in the Cotswolds
Savills is attacking the Cotswolds fast and furious with the opening of a new office in the beautiful Spa Town of Cheltenham. This opening strengthens Savills’ position within the historic region along with the company’s other established offices in Banbury, Cirencester, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.Malcolm Leng, who has 20 years experience will be returning to his home territory as the Head of the new Cheltenham Office comments:
“The new office is a great opportunity for Savills to service existing and future clients in all property matters, which only strengthens our long standing position within the Cotswolds with our other existing offices in the area. The Residential Sales team will be covering all aspects of house sales and country homes in Gloucestershire, as well as extending into Herefordshire and Worcester.”
Savills have a strong experienced team in place, with two of Cheltenham’s best known Residential Sales agents, Catherine Anderson and Maddie Lewington, who between them have 30 years experience within the town.
And with the expertise of the Rural Practice team headed by Douglas Mackellar, the farming community will be well covered on management and consultancy advice on all areas of Rural property and general practice. The Team will initially be supported by Stephen Thompstone and Ashley Lilley, specialising in Farm sales and Farm business consultancy respectively. Combined they bring over 35 years of experience in the region and will continue to cover the Cotswolds and across the 3 Counties into Warwickshire and Wales.
This type of multi-practice office will put the Savills Team ahead of their competitors in the area, providing professional services from a national company on a local level.
The Cheltenham Team have already sold a fine country house in Cradley and the offices will be officially opened by the owner of a Cheltenham house that will be coming onto the market in September. Savills will open the doors to their new offices ahead of schedule at 3:30pm on Wednesday August 29th.
