Buyers take advantage of Barratt Homes Choices

Buyers registering for Barratt Homes’ stunning new development Hortham Village near Bristol, have the added bonus of being able to customise their new home with the developer’s innovative Choices centre. Offered on selected plots, Choices offers buyers the chance to upgrade anything from their kitchen to bathroom fittings, lighting or perhaps wardrobe units.

The dedicated design centre opened earlier this year and buyers of selected properties at Hortham Village will be able to visit the centre, in Chippenham, to choose standard specifications for their kitchens and bathrooms, such as worktops and tiles, but they also have the option of paying extra for a wide variety of upgrades.

“The centre is excellently well-equipped and is effectively providing people with a bespoke service,” said design consultant Karen Box.

The Choices centre has been fitted out with three full-sized Barratt kitchens and there is also a bathroom and an en-suite, together with samples of all the different tiles, work surfaces and fittings, so customers, many of whom will have bought their homes off plan, can see exactly how the various colours and patterns will work in different-sized properties.

There are examples of different fireplaces, the wide range of sanitary ware, fitted wardrobes and much more.

There is also a sophisticated computer programme so that Karen and fellow design consultant Emma Coupland can immediately check on costs and feasibility of requests immediately.
