Barratt Homes helps couple sell with Home Exchange

And rather than splitting their time between selling a home in Leeds and buying at Grange Court in Quedgeley, the couple left all the hard work to Barratt Homes and concentrated on settling into their new home.

“We had never considered home exchange before but Barratt made the process so easy. We didn’t need to dedicate time in Leeds to sell our apartment as Barratt took care of everything,” explained Sue.

Barratt Homes pioneered the home exchange option providing buyers with a quick and easy way to move up the property ladder while cutting out estate agents fees, chains and last minute haggling over the price.

The Bartletts were attracted to Grange Court as their daughter lives in Quedgeley and it offered exactly what they were looking for. They decided on a spacious four bedroom detached Radleigh design.

“The layout of the Radleigh was very appealing but the generous room sizes are what sold it for us,” continued Sue.

The Grange Court development is a contemporary mix of two bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom houses located in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire.

The development is just two miles from the M5 and offers easy access to the A38 too. The new South West Bypass, due to be completed this year, will link the development to the city centre and other major routes around the county.

There is a successful park and ride scheme already in place on the edge of Kingsway, providing a quick and reliable service into Gloucester. A rapid transit bus service is also planned for the whole district.

Gloucester train station is just three miles away offering regular services to London Paddington, Bristol and Reading.

Kingsway will also include two new primary schools, shops, a state-of-the-art health centre for doctors and dentists, a community centre, four football pitches, a cricket pitch with pavilion and several tennis courts.
