Primary school builds foundations with Barratt

Thirty pupils from Meadowside Primary School in Quedgeley are now well versed in the ways of housebuilding after visiting Barratt’s nearby Grange Court development. The 10 and 11 year olds are doing a project on the cost of living and toured one of the showhomes on the development and were told all about the various stages of construction.

Barratt sales director Louise Ware said the site manager and sales negotiator had been delighted to host the children and help them with their project.

“We play an integral role in the communities in which we build and it is great to see that children can learn more about housebuilding and the cost of living so close to their school,’’ said Louise.

The Grange Court development is a contemporary mix of two bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom houses located in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire.
