The scheme means purchasers pay just 75 per cent of the purchase price with no deposit, rent or shared ownership required on the outstanding 25 percent. The deferred amount is then paid back as 25 per cent of the property’s open market value, either within 10 years of purchase or at the time of re-sale if this is earlier than 10 years.

In addition, purchasers who take advantage of the Easy Start scheme will also benefit from a host of other incentives from David Wilson Homes including payment of stamp duty, legal fees up to £1,000 and providing complementary kitchen appliances, such as a fridge-freezer and washing machine, and carpets throughout the home.
