First-time buyer deals at Equinox in Cheltenham

First time buyers in the region are being given a helping hand onto the housing ladder with a brand new initiative from Barratt - Head Start.
And a special weekend for first time buyers will be held at the development on May 17/18 for potential buyers to find out more.
Available for a limited period on apartments and houses, the deal is designed to make home ownership as affordable as possible for those looking to get onto the housing ladder.
Under Head Start first-time buyers secure a mortgage for 85 per cent of the total property price and Barratt finances the remaining 15 per cent for up to 10 years.
Barratt will also pay the five per cent deposit for first time buyers - a real bonus for those struggling to pay rent and save towards a new home.
Andrea Pilgrim from Barratt, said: "The affordability difficulties faced by first time buyers are still an ongoing issue and Barratt's Head Start scheme is tailored exclusively to help these people get on the property ladder."
At Equinox Barratt is building 44 brand new homes with a mix of apartments and houses and prices start at £150,000.
Equinox is just 1.5 miles from Junction 11 of the M5 and there are regular services from Cheltenham train station to Swindon, Bristol and London.
