Deputy Mayor launches new homes in Gloucestershire The Sheriff and Deputy Mayor of Gloucestershire, Councillor Nigel Hanman, was on hand this weekend to officially launch Crest Nicholson’s brand new development and show home in Churchdown, Gloucestershire.

The Deputy Mayor joined the local business community and representatives from Crest Nicholson to celebrate the opening of the new ‘Hereford’ show home. The three-bedroom family home boasts a large living area and separate dining room which opens directly onto the garden - perfect for summer entertaining.

Also available to view was the ‘Melbourne’ – a four-bedroom home with the added luxury of a dressing area adjoining the master bedroom. Visitors were able to view the unfurnished property and see the attention to detail that comes as standard with a Crest Nicholson home.

Set on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds, the sensitively created development of 47 properties consists of two bedroom coach houses and three, four and five bedroom homes.

The development received a warm reception from guests at the opening event, which was also attended by Managing Director of Crest Nicholson (South West), John Gatehouse.

Crest Nicholson Area Sales Manager, Laura Osborne said: “The show home launch event was a great success and it was wonderful for the Deputy Mayor to officially open the development for the people of Gloucestershire. The launch was really well attended and everyone was very impressed with the development and what it has to offer homebuyers.

“Churchdown is such a popular place with beautiful countryside, excellent schooling and fantastic links to the M5 and the bustling cities of Cheltenham and Gloucester. We’ve already had a large number of enquiries about the development so we encourage people to come and visit us to see the variety of beautiful homes that are on offer”

Also for homebuyers looking for their perfect home in Gloucestershire, Crest Nicholson will be launching its brand new show home at Eastington. The 3-bedroom, 3-storey ‘Woodchester’ house type will open for viewings from Saturday 7 June. This attractive property offers buyers the option to work from home with a dedicated study area and two separate family living spaces for after hours.

The development will be open between 10am and 5pm from Saturday 7 June and visitors to the launch will be treated to refreshments.

Laura Osborne continued: “Crest Nicholson is committed to building high quality properties in Gloucestershire and these new show homes offer potential buyers the opportunity to see for themselves the contemporary design and stunning interiors that set our houses apart.”

Prices at Churchdown currently start from £164,950 for a two-bedroom home with prices at Eastington starting from £239,950 for a three-bedroom home.
