Miller offers helping sand

The club has been at its current site, The Moats, since the mid-eighties and has junior teams from under-7s to under-11s, all of which play in friendly fixtures created to allow everyone to have a chance to be involved.
Last year's floods in Tewkesbury tragically claimed the life of club treasurer, Bram Lane, a figure instantly recognisable to anyone who knows the club. He and his son Chris died trying to clear up after the significant damage caused by the floods.
Pete Healey said: "The club was affected badly by the floods last year with the loss of Chris and Bram Lane in the effort to clear the clubhouse up. Work still continues on a voluntary basis to return the club to the condition prior to the flood and all donations help greatly with this effort."
Miller Homes donated a total of 60 tonnes of sharp sand to use over the training facilities. Linda Androlia, sales director at Miller, said: "We are currently building new homes in Tewkesbury and are always very keen to help the local community as and when we can. When Pete approached us, we were more than happy to lend a hand.
Tewksbury Rugby Club offers a fantastic community service encouraging young children to keep fit and play sport, so it's an incredibly worthy cause."
Miller Homes' housing development in Tewkesbury - The Meadows - is situated on Bredon Road and currently has three, four and five bedroom properties available, with prices starting at £234,950.
