Sought after new homes in the Cotswolds

Sought after new homes in the Cotswolds The Cirencester property market has been given a boost with the development of sought-after new homes, says one of the area’s leading estate agents.

Award-wining housebuilder Redrow has linked up with local agent Cain and Fuller to market the brand new homes at Centuria. Matthew Fuller, managing director of Cain and Fuller, believes a new homes venture of this quality is just what was needed to give homebuyers in the town a wider choice.

He said: “Centuria is a welcome addition for homebuyers who are looking for a new property as it offers them a fantastic selection in a great location for commuters. It is the first new homes development to be built for some time in Cirencester and I think it was much needed.

“Redrow is building homes of real quality, with high specification kitchens and bathrooms and contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout, which are perfectly placed to meet the demands of the local market.

“As well as a choice of more traditional two-storey home, they have a number of flexible three-storey homes, which add another dimension for families in search of more space.”

Centuria will eventually consist of homes to suit all types of buyer with two-bedroom coach house apartments, three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes and four and five-bedroom detached homes.

Known as the "Capital of the Cotswolds", Cirencester is an historic Roman town in the heart of the one of the most ‘quintessentially English’ and unspoiled locations in the country, with attractions including a Roman Ampitheatre and the nearby Chedworth Roman Villa.

The superb development is situated about one and a half miles from the town centre and has good shopping and leisure facilities nearby. There are excellent transport links to neighbouring towns and villages and easy access to the M5 and the M4.

The development is also ideal for families, with a good choice of primary and secondary schools locally.

Prices are from £230,000 to £345,000.
