According to plan at the Meadows

15th June 2009 Print
According to plan at the Meadows Homebuyers in Tewkesbury are giving a definite sign that confidence is returning to the housing market, with housebuilder Miller Homes agreeing two off-plan sales at its Meadows development already this month.

Plot 74 and 78 were sold following a high level of interest from local house hunters, many of whom looking to make the most of Tewkesbury’s historic market town setting and the range of schemes being offered at the development.

Linda Androlia, regional sales and marketing director for Miller Homes, said: “We are very pleased with the success at the development, which proves that the new Homebuy Direct shared equity initiative is helping more and more buyers afford their dream home.”

Under the initiative, buyers can purchase 100 percent of their home by paying just 70 percent of the value, with both Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remaining 30 percent. The 30 percent equity loan only becomes repayable after 25 years or when the customer sells their home, whichever comes first.

Because Homebuy Direct is government backed, buyers can also feel more secure in their investment.

Linda added: “The idyllic market town setting of the Meadows is what has attracted buyers in the past. Now that many of the homes are even more affordable, I’m sure the development will enjoy increased popularity.”

Featuring a beautiful range of three, four and five bedroom homes, the Meadows is perfect for families and those looking to upgrade. Located within a short stroll of one of Britain’s most celebrated medieval town centres, yet just minutes from the M5 and in easy commuting range of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Worcester, the development combines charm with convenience.

Linda continued: “Part of the appeal of the Meadows is the vast range of properties available, especially our most recent release of three bedroom Burton style homes, which are proving popular with families and young couples looking for flexible living.”

Offering the best of three storey living, the Burton townhouse is a modern family home designed with space in mind. The bright first floor lounge, featuring French windows, complements the downstairs dining-room to provide the perfect setting for entertaining.

Burton homes at the Meadows are available from £176,950, or with HomeBuy Direct, for just £123,865. For more information, visit millerhomes.co.uk.
