Horticultural heritage inspires house naming
Westonbirt Arboretum and the gardens of Highgrove have provided inspiration for David Wilson Homes to name its properties at The Hamptons in Tetbury. Plants ranging from Dahlias through to Willow, Morello and Tulipa have all been used identify the individual homes on the development.Sales director Bernice McKenna said that all the homes are totally individual to complement the stunning surroundings and it made perfect sense to name the homes after trees and plants featured at these famous gardens.
“The development is in such a fantastic area that we were spoilt for choice when it came to choosing names from the homes and it has been fantastic to be able to choose just the right plant or tree name to suit the homes,’’ said Bernice.
The Hamptons is set in an attractive cul-de-sac in Tetbury with David Wilson Homes offering three and four bedroom homes built using traditional materials including natural stone and blue slate roofs – to blend in with their unique surroundings.
