Stylish new homes to launch in Evesham	House hunters in Badsey looking for their dream home can call off the search, as Taylor Wimpey Midlands prepares to launch Stone Pippin Orchard, a stunning collection of just 30 homes in Badsey.

Situated on Badsey Fields Lane and comprising a collection of three, four and five bedroom detached homes, Stone Pippin Orchard will fuse modern stylish homes with a historic location dating back to the nineteenth century.

Anne Wallace, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We’re delighted to be gearing up for the launch of Stone Pippin Orchard which is due to take place in September. The development promises to bring to the area high quality desirable homes at competitive prices and as interest is already high we expect to be inundated with house hunters keen to snap up one of the homes.”

The development was named Stone Pippin Orchard after suggestions from the local history group, Badsey Society, who traced the history of the actual site back to the early nineteenth century. The Badsey Society found that the location of ‘Stone Pippin Orchard’ is shown on the earliest known large scale map of Badsey: the 1812 Enclosure Map. Taylor Wimpey decided to refer to the historical name for the development after a suggestion from the history group.

Those looking for a stylish new home in an excellent location will find Stone Pippin Orchard, which is less than three miles from Evesham town centre, is right up their street. For day to day needs there are two large supermarkets in the centre of town, as well as the Riverside Shopping Centre and a number of smaller independent retailers.

Lazy weekends can be spent relaxing with a good book in the parks and gardens on the banks of the River Avon, or enjoying a Sunday Band Concert in the bandstand at Abbey Park. For culture vultures there is a Norman arch, leading to the Abbey precincts, and the Round House, a beautiful 15th century house which is one of the finest examples of a timber framed building in the country. The magnificent Bell Tower and the twin churches of All Saints and St Lawrence are also well worth a visit, as the only major buildings remaining of the once great Abbey.

Sporty residents will find plenty to occupy them within easy reach of the development. The Leisure Centre on Davies Road provides a swimming pool, squash and badminton courts and a fully equipped gymnasium. Fishing permits are available from the riverside meadows and fishing for the disabled is reserved from the Workman Gardens. There are also numerous opportunities for walking and cycling.

For commuters Stone Pippin Orchard is situated within easy reach of the A44, which offers access to all the amenities of Evesham as well as Worcester and all the regional road networks beyond. For those who prefer to leave the car behind and take the train Evesham Station offers services to destinations including Worcester, Hereford and Great Malvern as well as Oxford, Reading and London Paddington (which can be reached in approximately 1 hour 45 minutes).
