Bloor unveils new show home in Gloucester

Bloor Homes and NEXT, one of the most successful high street retailers, have united to create an innovative and stylish new showhome at Bloor’s Monk Meadow Quay development in Gloucester.
The Harthorpe style showhome, a traditional two-storey, four-bedroom home, opens on Saturday 26 September.
Perfectly illustrating the build quality and high specification that Bloor has built its reputation on, the showhome also gives visitors a real sense of the space and style that the homes at the development offer.
The interiors reflect the prime waterside location in which Monk Meadow is set. Teal tones feature throughout the living space and each room has been styled individually to reflect the diverse NEXT HOME interior range. All of the NEXT HOME interior products used in the showhome are available to order online at next.co.uk or in your local NEXT store.
NEXT HOME has also helped to style the showhome at Bloor’s new development in Kington Park in Kington, Herefordshire – which is also opening on Saturday 26 September.
Celebrating the launch, Bloor Homes is offering all customers who reserve a property at Monk Meadow Quay a £1,000 NEXT Gift Card when they complete their purchase.
Sales Advisor Nicky Matthews commented: “NEXT HOME has done a fantastic job at the showhome and visitors can’t fail to be impressed. Not only does the house look amazing, it also has the advantage of being in this lovely waterside location and part of Gloucester’s wider docklands regeneration scheme which is causing excitement across the city.
“Our homes are extremely popular – we’ve already sold around half of the properties recently launched in Phase 2 of the development and we are continuing to sell off-plan because of the high rate of demand at Monk Meadow Quay.”
Currently available at the development are a range of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom homes with prices starting at just £119,950.
Some of the plots may be available on Bloor Homes’ Part-Exchange scheme, aimed at those who need to sell their current property prior to purchase. The scheme effectively eliminates the need to hire estate agents, and deal with viewings, making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Alternatively, buyers could benefit from Bloor’s HomesStart2 scheme which offers them the opportunity to initially pay just 85 per cent of the property price, with the remaining 15 per cent payable at any time within the first ten years, when the house is sold, when a purchaser’s financial circumstances improve, or simply by remortgaging at the end of the ten year period. This 15 per cent will be calculated at the current market value at the time it is repaid.
If you would like further information, the development is open daily between 10.00am and 5.15pm. Alternatively, log on to bloorhomes.com for more details.
