New phase gets underway at Barratt’s Copper Quarter

The first phase of homes quickly sold to buyers in the region and the recent launch of traditional new homes has been equally successful with the mix of apartments and housing appealing to a wide range of buyers.
Barratt Homes Sales Director Sandra Dixon said the successful launch of the latest homes at Copper Quarter had reiterated the strong demand for homes in the Swansea area.
“Our first phase of homes included Barratt’s innovative iPads which sold out faster than we ever expected,’’ said Sandra. “The latest phase of homes includes more traditional designs and demand for these has been just as impressive and we are delighted that we have now been able to get sales of these properties underway.’’
An open weekend to launch the brand new showhomes provided the perfect opportunity for buyers to see what Barratt Homes has in store for Copper Quarter.
The second phase of the hugely successful development close to the Liberty Stadium comprises a range of house types to cater for a variety of tastes with both traditional house designs and also contemporary living.
As part of the development at Copper Quarter, the existing iPad sales centre has now been joined by the opening of the traditional new showhomes.
The Montgomery and Newbridge apartments together with the Gower, Newport and Neyland house types form part of the new show complex with the contemporary designs set to provide inspiration to buyers at Copper Quarter.
As part of the new launch phase Barratt Homes will be building a range of houses together with more of the iPads which are helping first time buyers get onto the local housing market.
New properties will include a range of traditional two bedroom apartments and three bedroom houses.
Once complete there will be more than 560 homes at Copper Quarter as Barratt Homes creates a thriving community at Landore.
Built on the site of the former Morfa Copper Works, the location in Landore was more recently the home of Addis Housewares before its current transformation into Copper Quarter.
