£99 and move in option at Copper Quarter First time buyers are being given the chance to escape the rental trap and move into their own brand new Barratt property for a down payment of just £99 and their 5% deposit paid.

Already 99 buyers have taken advantage of the £99 move in option on the iPads at Copper Quarter in Swansea – testament to the popularity of this initiative to help first time buyers get onto the housing ladder,

Barratt Sales Director Sandra Dixon said: “Available on selected iPads, the move in for £99 option means Barratt will pay the stamp duty, legal fees and the 5% deposit for a first time home buyer – making a new home even more attainable.

“Time after time we see people unable to escape the trap of rental accommodation because rents are too high for them to save for a deposit and moving costs, especially if they are also paying off a student loan.

“This initiative enables them to literally move in for a down payment of £99, use the money they would have been paying to a landlord for their mortgage and begin accruing equity,” commented Sandra.

At Copper Quarter iPads are currently priced from £118,995 and the properties have parking courts, landscaped areas and are set right on the riverside providing an unrivalled location for first time buyers.
