Townhouse living offers flexibility in Swansea Three storey family homes are making a comeback in South Wales and Barratt can offer a selection of townhouses at its Copper Quarter development in Swansea.

"Many families opt for the townhouse style of home because it provides flexible accommodation," reports Adrian Bird, Barratt sales director. "Our Gower and Neyland houses are ideal for people who want a large living space."

The Gower, which has an asking price of £179,995, offers a cloakroom, bedroom/study and kitchen/diner on the ground floor. There is a lounge and bedroom on the first floor, and an en-suite bedroom, additional bedroom and bathroom on the second floor.

The Neyland, priced at £194,995, has a cloakroom, study, kitchen/family room and storage area on the ground floor. There is a lounge and en-suite bedroom on the first floor and two bedrooms and a family bathroom on the second floor.

"The interiors can easily be adapted to suit changing circumstances," Adrian continued. "For example, a ground floor room could be used to accommodate an elderly relative or one of the bedrooms could be converted into an office for a home worker."

Part exchange is available on both townhouses to buyers moving up to a larger home.

"Our part-exchange offer removes all the uncertainty of being caught in a chain that breaks," Adrian continued. "Just like trading in your old car when you buy a new model, we effectively buy your old home for cash, enabling you to relax without the worry and cost of selling your property."

Copper Quarter is set in a riverside environment with landscaped areas for residents and walks along the River Tawe. Nearby Swansea, birthplace of poet Dylan Thomas and actress Catherine Zeta Jones, is a lively and vibrant maritime city and regional shopping centre.

Only a stone's throw away, the Victorian resort of Mumbles offers a fantastic array of attractions including a pier, traditional boutiques, craft shops and ice-cream parlours.
