20th October 2008 Print
Hold back the night, turn on the lights in Swansea Barratt is set to light up the night sky this month for an amazing evening at its Copper Quarter development in Swansea. A huge roving spotlight in the sky will direct people to the development on Thursday October 30 when Barratt launches the next phase of homes at Copper Quarter, and offers amazing deals for those wanting a quick move before Christmas.

Sales director Adrian Bird said the spotlight in the sky will be seen for miles around and will provide the perfect backdrop for the event.

"With the winter evenings it makes sense to ‘hold back the night and turn on the lights' at Copper Quarter,'' said Adrian. "The old Trammps song from the 70s is the perfect soundtrack to the event as we will also be lighting up our show complex in style and screening a video onto one of the walls.''

With a range of homes currently available from the innovative iPads though to apartments, houses and townhouses Adrian said the event - which will run from 4pm until 8pm - will give potential buyers a great opportunity to learn more about moving to Copper Quarter.

And with Barratt's innovative Dream Start scheme two bedroom homes cost from just £108,750 and a three bedroom property from only £147,000 - and there are even some available for those wanting to be in their new home by Christmas.

The two bedroom coach house, available with Dream Start, has an integral garage and offers an entrance hall with stairs to the first floor. There is a large lounge/dining area and a fully fitted kitchen with contemporary feel. The master bedroom has ensuite facilities and the is an additional main bathroom.

For those looking for a three bedroom home the Newport, also available with Dream Start, is a three bedroom, three storey townhouse. A family room opens onto the rear garden and the ground floor also has a fitted kitchen and separate study.

On the first floor is the main lounge together with the master bedroom and its ensuite facilities with a further two bedrooms and the family bathroom on the top floor.

"Townhouses are becoming increasingly popular at the moment with buyers appreciating the flexible living space,'' said Adrian.

Copper Quarter, built on the site of a former copper works, is now really taking shape with the homes proving popular with a wide range of buyers.

"Our iPads and traditional homes have proved equally successful and with more than 550 homes planned for Copper Quarter there is tremendous choice for buyers looking to move to this prestigious location,'' said Adrian.

In addition to the launch of new homes at the event Barratt experts will also be on hand to provide details of the developer's tailor made deals for first time buyers and those looking to part exchange to a larger home.

"People can join us for drinks and canapés anytime from 4-8pm and find out how we can help with a move to Copper Quarter,'' he added.
