Lift-off for Glasgow’s latest new homes Redrow Homes’ latest developments in the Glasgow area made a splash when they were previewed at the city’s famous River Festival. The award-winning housebuilder used its hot air balloon and a hospitality marquee at the event to promote Riverside Point in Braehead and Route 1 West at Anniesland.

Sales consultants were on hand to chat to visitors about the developments and what they have to offer and Redrow’s striking hot air balloon was there to give people a lift.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland) says: “The Glasgow River Festival is a fantastic event and Redrow is glad to have been part of it.

“We now have a selection of developments around the Glasgow area with Route One West and Riverside Point being most convenient for the city.

“Route 1 West offers spacious four-bedroom townhouses with flexible living areas spread over three floors and they have an incredible amount of storage, which is often overlooked in modern homes.

“Route 1 West has only two apartments remaining on the current phase.

“Our newest venture, Riverside Point, offers a range of homes to suit people on all stages of the property ladder, including striking town houses offering versatile living over three storeys

“Within just a few hours of opening the doors at our shop in Braehead Shopping Centre we sold over £1M worth of new homes.

“This come as no surprise as the area has fantastic local amenities – not least the Braehead shopping and leisure centre and Xscape family entertainments centre – as well as easy access to Glasgow city centre for commuters.”

To tie in with the celebrations, Redrow offered vouchers for hot air balloon flights, which will be handed over on legal completion, to anyone who reserved at Riverside Point or Route 1 West, by visiting one of the developments during the festival weekend.

A range of two-bedroom apartments, two and three-bedroom terraced houses, detached properties and three and four-bedroom town houses will be built at Riverside Point, a development of 342 homes just minutes from shopping and leisure facilities. The homes will share the footprint of Redrow’s existing design portfolio, but their contemporary exteriors will be quite different from the developer’s previous homes in Scotland.

With fantastic commuter links to the city centre and surrounding region, this is the ideal location for families and young professionals alike.

Route 1 West is a contemporary development of two and three-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom townhouses, in one of the city’s most stylish, bustling environments, close to Glasgow’s West End and within walking distance of Anniesland station.

A stunning show apartment and town house show home are now open at the site and current prices start from £176,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and from £309,000 for a four-bedroom townhouse.
