House builder Barratt North Scotland celebrated a series of successes at this year’s National House Building Council (NHBC) ‘Pride in the Job’ awards, held at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow on Friday (October 5).

Keith Findlay, site manager at Barratt’s flagship Aberdeen city centre development, Citigait, was named Regional Award Winner for the multi-storey category. He will now progress to the UK Supreme Awards final, to be held in London in January.

Fred Anderson, site manager at the company’s Kinmohr Gardens in Blackburn received both a Seal of Excellence Award and a Quality Award for his development, while Ian Ingram, also a site manager at Citigait received a Quality Award.

Keith, who has worked with Barratt for 10 years and supervised the new-build element of the Citigait development, said: “I am extremely proud to have been presented with this award but it really is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the entire team at Citigait. I am very lucky to have such a skilled group around me and this award is as much for the rest of the team as it is for me.”

Barratt North Scotland’s managing director, David Scott, added: “Congratulations to Keith, Fred and Ian for the awards. Barratt continuously strives to promote high standards when it comes to build quality and customer service, and so it is particularly satisfying to have our staff recognised in this manner.”

Barratt employs more than 300 staff throughout the North-east and is currently building at 13 developments in the North-east, including sites in Aberdeen, Inverness, Elgin, Inverurie, Ellon and Oldmeldrum, as well as Perth.

Properties available range from two-bedroom apartments to luxury five-bedroom family homes, with prices ranging from around £175,000 - £400,000.
