A corporate occupier of this stature confirms the high quality of office accommodation provided within a location which is second to none in terms of accessibility to Central Scotland`s motorway network, being located immediately adjacent to junction 1 of the M74. Taylor Wimpey join BP and Mansell at the Park."

The new Taylor Wimpey office for the Bryant West Scotland team is a key part of the company’s strategy as it aims to consolidate and grow its position in the west of Scotland.

Willie McDermott, director and general manager for the Taylor Wimpey’s Bryant West Scotland region commented: "We are delighted to be locating our Bryant West of Scotland operation to Gateway Office Park. We needed a location offering good car parking provision within easy access to the road infrastructure to suit our business needs. Gateway ticked all the right boxes.

“This move is part of our strategic growth plan for the Bryant West Scotland operation. Positioning our head-office back in the heart of our operational area, will be a key driver in helping us to reinforce the Bryant brand in the west of Scotland. This move has the additional benefit that our head-office function is now much closer to our operational developments.

“The Bryant West Scotland business is projected to grow from 285 homes in 2007 to approximately 500 homes annually by 2009, and there are already a number of strong land opportunities coming up that we’re actively looking to secure in order to push the business forward. Being closer to these opportunities on the ground is recognised as a key part of our strategy for success.

“We have a number of sites to open soon including East Kilbride, Hamilton, and Cambuslang – all within easy reach of the new office. Plus there are further development plans for Lanarkshire already in the pipeline, so we’re on course to expand our business in line with the company vision of 500 homes annually by 2009.”

Gateway Office Park is located south-east of Glasgow City Centre at Junction 1 of M74. Two pavilions remain available within phase 2 of Gateway Office Park providing accommodation ranging from 2,500 sq ft to 8,900 sq ft. Further phases are planned offering bespoke design and build opportunities for a wide range of size requirements.
