Redrow announces new incentives in Anniesland

20th November 2008 Print
Redrow announces new incentives in Anniesland With quality-built homes at lower than ever prices and a choice of cash saving offers, now could be a better time than any to move. Award-winning housebuilder Redrow believes the combination of attractive deals being offered at all its developments across Scotland, together with the wide choice of homes available at extremely competitive prices, should work in homebuyers' favour.

Buying from Redrow also brings with it access to a network of mortgage advisers, solicitors, estate agents and other property professionals who all want one thing - to help get you moving.

Situated in Anniesland, close to Glasgow's fashionable West End, prices at Redrow's Route 1 West development are from £275,000 for a three-bedroom, three-storey townhouse. There are only six remaining and customers can take advantage of some fabulous Christmas bonus offers from Redrow.

Redrow's ability to deposit match up to 10% means that dream move is edged even further into sight. For those home hunters with a 10% deposit, Redrow will potentially double it so they can get an 80% mortgage.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland) comments: "It's a time of opportunity for homebuyers to take advantage of some attractive deals that are currently available and secure themselves a brand new home that should also save them money on their heating and fuel bills.

"Our ability to help with a deposit, stamp duty and other moving costs or to maybe take a customer's existing property in part-exchange, gives new homes the edge over the second hand market in the current climate."

Buyers opting to purchase a brand new home over a second hand dwelling should save financially in the long run. At first glance an older property might appear cheaper but renovating it to the same standards as a new-build could force the purchaser to dig deep into their pockets.

Diana adds: "Our new homes come complete with a high specification, including quality fixtures and fittings, modern kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, double glazing and no need for costly renovation.

"Also at a time of rising energy prices, new homes have been shown to save people up to £556 per annum on their fuel costs* - and that was before the latest large increase in gas and electricity costs. Those savings will go a long way to help boost the amount of money people can have in their pockets or help pay the mortgage."
