Austrians boarding pass opens doors in Vienna

27th April 2007 Print
Austrian Fly to Vienna with Austrian and your boarding card becomes your golden ticket; opening doors to celebrated museums, free of charge, or awarding you a welcome drink at the city’s most celebrated restaurant. This summer a flight with Austrian to Vienna really is a passport to the cities treasures.

Passengers can exchange the kept portion of their boarding card for entry to one of the spectacular attractions the city has to offer or for a welcoming drink at a top restaurant. Just another way that Austrians “We care” attitude extends beyond the flight itself.

Attractions may change as the options for passengers increase but already include:

- The Kunsthistorisches Museum containing the fourth largest collection of paintings in the world, the largest Brueghel collection as well as Greek and Roman antiquities.
- The Wagenburg Museum of Imperial carriages
- The Schatzkammer Imperial Treasury
- The Lipizzaner Museum
- The Museum of Ethnology
- Do & Co restaurant at Stephansplatz offers a complimentary welcome drink when you reserve a table.

To use the free pass passengers need to present the boarding card together with photo ID (in some cases) at participating venues. Only one pass per person is allowed and is valid for up to ten days after the flight.

There are not many airlines that offer such a privileged introduction to their home city.

A further advantage for passengers booking flights at Aaustrian.com is that they can now make their own seat selection when they make their reservation.

Another reason to ‘Fly with a smile’.
