Austrian Airlines offers Vienna Airport shuttle service

1st April 2011 Print

Austrian Airlines presents a new ‘redservice’ - from now on, a total of eight vehicles sporting the distinctive Austrian design will take Austrian passengers quickly and comfortably from Vienna and the surrounding region to the Airport, and from the Airport into Vienna and surrounding areas.

The redcab service is already available, starting at just 29 euros. That means passengers booking a private car for up to three people will pay a package price of 29 euros each way for the shuttle service to and from Vienna, while those opting for a minibus for up to eight people will pay 40 euros each way. The modern redcab fleet includes vehicles of the Mercedes E-Class, VW Sharan and Mercedes VITO Minibus brands. Guests using the red cabs will find a free daily newspaper waiting for them, as well as the Austrian in-flight magazines Skylines and Succeed, and a bottle of Vöslauer mineral water.

Customers can book the new service up to 24 hours before departure at austrian.com or red-cab.at. Customers will also find the prices for journeys to and from towns surrounding Vienna at these sites. Passengers pay in advance using a credit card. Austrian Airlines is offering the new transfer service in cooperation with its longstanding partner, AirportServices Wien.
