Austrian codeshare creates new flights throughout US

With immediate effect, Austrian Airlines is offering flights to 20 cities in the US in cooperation with Star Alliance partner United Airlines. Austrian offers a direct connection across the Atlantic, from Vienna to Chicago, and from Chicago O’Hare Airport, the central hub of United Airlines, passengers can use a wide range of new and attractive transfer connections throughout the USA.

The new schedule includes interesting destinations such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as cities such as Cleveland, Columbus/Ohio, Cincinnati, Denver, Des Moines in Iowa, Grand Rapids in Michigan, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Portland/Oregon, Phoenix, San Diego, San Jose, Salt Lake City, Sacramento and Saint Louis. With this cooperation, Austrian Airlines is extending its global network and offering the best connections from Chicago.

The North Atlantic service of Austrian Airlines consists of up to daily flights to New York, Washington and Toronto, with Chicago served up to six times a week in high season. Austrian Airlines is also continuing to offer codeshare flights from New York and Washington to 30 destinations in the USA in cooperation with United Airlines.

The entire Boeing long-haul fleet of Austrian Airlines is already equipped with new Business Class standards: comfortable lie-flat sleeper seats ensure a relaxed stay on board, while the exclusive DO&CO inflight catering product provides sumptuous new highs. Inflight chefs are on hand to refine gourmet menus, and a Vienna Coffee House service tempts passengers to try a host of speciality coffees.
