A drink before bed

25th July 2008 Print
With continuing security restrictions on liquids, Austrian airlines now offers all long-haul passengers their personal 0.5 litre water bottle as they board. Lucky Business Class passengers can also opt to have their ‘beds’ turned down a service normally restricted to First Class on other airlines.

As the credit crunch bites it’s reassuring to know that our service and quality will not be compromised. Austrian is launching another service upgrade for all passengers on long-haul flights. Every passenger will be presented with a personal water bottle the moment they board. A thoughtful touch as security restrictions limit liquids allowances. The Austrian Vöslauer spring water ensures individual refreshment, a highly valued service, especially on night flights.

In another new service Austrian Business Class passengers can now request their ‘bed’ be turned down with white linen, in addition to pillows and blankets. The ‘beds’ with almost 2 meters of space and a personal Sky Spa Comfort Kit offers passengers a Business Class experience incorporating service of a truly First Class standard.

The multi-award winning Austrian long-haul Business Class featuring Do & Co catering and the unique Viennese Coffee House Service is further embellished with new, specially designed glassware from Riedel.

It’s the small touches that make good taste an even greater pleasure and a testament of Austrian’s philosophy “We fly for your smile”. By offering no fewer than 130 destinations worldwide, 48 in Central & Eastern Europe along with fast and convenient transfers at Vienna, Austrian has positioned itself strongly.
