Top marks for Austrian Airlines

It’s another top placing for Austrian Airlines: readers of business travel magazine Business Traveller have once again voted the airline into first place in the “Food & Drink” category. The Austrian airline also achieved an outstanding second place in the overall evaluation of the region’s best airlines in the “Best Airline in Europe” category, as well as second places for the level of service offered on board and on the ground, and for its cabin comfort. Finally, Austrian was awarded a third place for its safety provisions.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Austrian Airlines Group, Alfred Ötsch, said the following about these latest top marks: “We are happy that we have again succeeded in inspiring our customers with our culinary range over the past year, as well as with the committed and charming service provided by our staff members on the ground and in the air. This consistent customer orientation makes us unmistakeable and unique by comparison with our international competitors."
