25th April 2007 Print
Emirates Holidays will celebrate the unveiling of its A World of Choice 2007-08 brochures with Emirates Holidays World – a three-day exhibition extravaganza, starting this Friday, 27th April with free admissions to the general public, and continuing exclusively for the travel trade on Saturday and Sunday.

The annual Emirates Holidays World event – by the largest wholesale tour operator in the Gulf and Middle East – is an eagerly-awaited event. Hundreds of holiday-seekers from across the UAE are expected to flock to the family event of the year this Friday, once again being staged at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Convention Centre from 4pm to 9pm.

Visitors can look forward to enjoying a carnival-like atmosphere with entertainment, children’s activities and cultural displays that bring different destinations to life.

An early bird discount of five per cent is available for holidays booked and paid for at Emirates Holidays World 2007. Five vouchers worth AED 10,000 each will be raffled on Friday at 8:30pm and can be credited against the winner’s next holiday with Emirates Holidays.

Visitors will be hosted by experts from National Tourist Offices and Emirates Holidays destination partners from around the world, who will guide them to hundreds of holiday treasures, trendy new hotspots, honeymoon escapes, exciting cruises, wildlife safaris, adventures tours and ski holidays waiting to be explored at new and existing destinations in the latest edition of the brochures.

This year, Emirates Holidays will showcase details of its largest-ever range of holiday packages contained in four brochures covering the Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean; Europe and The Americas; Asia and Australasia; and a brand-new Dubai and the Emirates. On offer are flexible, affordable and quality holidays to more than 100 stunning leisure destinations in 36 countries.

In all, nearly 400,000 brochures will be distributed through travel agents in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia, to thousands of potential travellers. Arabic language brochures are produced for use throughout the Middle East, together with a dedicated brochure for Saudi Arabia.

John Felix, Vice President Emirates Holidays said: “This is our seventh year of designing and creating exceptional holidays for our A World of Choice brochures, and holding the Emirates Holidays World event for consumers and the travel trade. The new Explore Dubai and the Emirates brochure was created keeping in mind the phenomenal growth of tourism and the hospitality industry in the UAE. This as well as the other expanded A World of Choice 2007-08 brochures offer the biggest-ever choice of holidays for Emirates Holidays customers, reflecting our continued expansion and the ever-increasing global reach of Emirates’ route network.”

He added: “Emirates Holiday World 2007 will offer consumers and travel agents in-depth knowledge of Emirates Holidays products, access to staff, and unique opportunities to interact and consult with destination specialists from around the world to create the perfect holiday – whether it is a honeymoon getaway at an exotic spa, a luxury ocean cruise, or the thrills of a theme park adventure.”

Each A World of Choice 2007-08 brochure features a number of exciting new destinations including Brazil and Tunisia, as well as cities such as Nagoya in Japan, Kolkata and Bangalore in India. The brochures are packed with more than 100 new hotels, resorts, spas and safari lodges; new tours, cruises and honeymoon options.

All hotels, apartments, lodges and resorts offered by Emirates Holidays are regularly reviewed to ensure that they meet the needs of the discerning holidaymaker.
