Emirates Holidays hosts travel event Whether you are a family, a couple or an individual traveller who needs some time away, start your holiday this Friday (1st May) by visiting the Emirates Holidays World event at the InterContinental Hotel Convention Centre, Dubai Festival City.

Following the recent unveiling of its new A World of Choice brochure, Emirates Holidays is hosting one of most awaited travel events in the Dubai calendar.

With over 30 countries represented, visitors will be able to meet local travel experts face to face, including National Tourist Offices, showcasing an extensive range of family holidays, city breaks, beach holidays, tours, safaris, cruises, adventure holidays, theme parks, spa breaks and honeymoons from every corner of the world.

Everyone attending the travel event will receive a five per cent discount voucher which can be used for any Emirates Holidays package taken before the 31st August 2009. Visitors will also have the chance to enter into a free Grand Raffle where three vouchers valued at AED 10,000 can be won.

The travel event will also feature a range of activities for children including stilt-walkers and clowns, mascots and face painting all in a dedicated children’s activity area.

John Felix, Senior Vice President, Emirates Holidays said, “Despite the general downturn, everyone is still looking to go on holiday. However, we are now finding that people are planning their holiday more carefully, investing more time in looking at what is available for a good quality time away. This event will allow them to explore the range of affordable, tailor-made holidays we have on offer, and we hope both the event and our new brochure will make researching and booking their holiday as exciting and stress-free as possible.”

The public open day will run from 1600hrs to 2100hrs this coming Friday 1st May. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Free parking will be available at the adjoining Dubai Festival City.
